A small PLC controller with a touch display is to be one of the highlights from DISPLAY VISIONS at the upcoming embedded world 2025 trade fair. This small PLC can be wirelessly connected to up to 50 satellites.
With its new PLC series, DISPLAY VISIONS has made admin and control tasks in the control cabinet much easier. The compact PLC controller is pre-equipped with a colour touch display that not only shows measurement and process data, but also enables the quick entry of operating parameters and control commands. Up to 50 additional satellite displays can also be connected using WiFi, LAN or RS-485. All the process parameters are automatically shared with the satellites, where they can be selectively displayed and changed if necessary. In this way, work preparation, monitoring, management and service teams get information and intervention options adapted to their individual requirements. The satellite displays are available in various sizes (1.5 to 10.1 inches). The display on the PLC itself is 2.8 inches, and with its brilliant IPS technology, is easy to read, also in bright surroundings and from almost every direction. The programming takes place via USB with the free “PLC Designer” Windows tool. This makes it easy to implement even highly sophisticated and visually appealing screen layouts. 8 digital and 4 analogue inputs, 4 relay contacts and an RS-232 are available for the data acquisition and command output. The supply voltage is 12 to 24 V. The PLC unit is just 5 HP wide and positioned on a top hat rail. DISPLAY VISIONS offers various mounting options for the satellites, from device installation, to installation in doors, through to wall mounting.
