Travelier, the leading digital travel company for land and sea transportation, announced impressive results and milestones for the first half of 2024, demonstrating the company’s continued momentum and commitment to revolutionizing the intercity travel booking experience.
Record Sales Pace
Travelier achieved a significant milestone, reaching a sales pace of processing 3 million tickets through its platforms per month. This impressive achievement underscores the growing demand for Travelier’s user-friendly online platforms across the globe both in the B2C and B2B space.
Strategic Acquisitions and Partnerships
Travelier’s growth strategy was further boosted by the successful launch of Travelier Connect, a Global Distribution System (GDS), the first of its kind for intercity transportation. This groundbreaking technological hub unlocks exponential revenue with minimal effort for its partners. “The Connected Trip” is here with the largest global network of intercity transportation providers. All worldwide group routes integrated into a single API. Travelier Connect streamlines travel offerings with real-time data, fueling seamlessly integrated journeys. With this new capability added to the group, Travelier is now a “full stack” surface transportation tech company, with OTA, GDS and TMS, integrated vertically in the ecosystem.
In addition, during the month of May, 2024, the company announced the acquisition of DeÔnibus. This online bus ticketing brand is a dominant force in the Brazilian bus travel industry. With a network of 300+ operators connected to more than 36,000 routes, DeÔnibus offers nearly 80% geographical coverage in Brazil and serves 30 million travelers annually. DeÔnibus joining the group significantly strengthens Travelier’s presence in the LATAM region, adding a valuable network of routes to the portfolio.
Unparalleled Network & Route Options
Travelier now offers over 0.5 million routes via 12,000 operators across its 5 B2C platforms, offering travelers unparalleled choice and flexibility. This vast network is further enhanced by 3.8 million route permutations, ensuring traveliers can find the most convenient and cost-effective travel options and go much further than main touristic destinations and airports.
Operator Growth and Leadership Expansion
Travelier has achieved a 10% growth in the number of operators partnering with the group since January 2024. This expansion signifies the growing trust and recognition of the digitalization process occurring in this travel category which is the last sector in travel which holds under 20% digital penetration.
Travelier also welcomes two new CEOs to its leadership team: Sebastien Malbarn for Plataforma 10 and Ante Dagelić for GBB. Additionally, Yael Yehudai joins the group as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. These strategic appointments further strengthen Travelier’s leadership and expertise across key markets.
Looking Ahead
“We are incredibly proud of the achievements we have accomplished in the first half of 2024,” said Noam Toister, Co-founder and CEO of Travelier. “These results are a testament to the dedication and innovation of our entire team. We are confident that by leveraging our robust network, strategic partnerships, and exceptional leadership, Travelier will continue to revolutionize the travel booking experience for travelers worldwide.”
