Westermo Eltec, a subsidiary of the Westermo Group and business unit of the Swedish Ependion Group, is pleased to announce the successful order from the Mobility Business of Siemens Limited (India) for the provision of essential connectivity solutions to enhance freight transport operations for Indian Railways.
Indian Railways’ freight transport initiative which has an ambitious goal of creating the world’s largest green rail network, will see the deployment of Westermo Eltec’s high-performance LTE router, CyBox LTE 2-W. The order, valued at approximately 1.9 million euros, encompasses the supply of 1,200 units of the CyBox LTE 2-W router over a period of 10 years.
