SolarEdge Technologies, Inc. (“SolarEdge”), a global leader in smart energy technology, today announced that its complete, end-to-end Solar Commercial Storage suite will make a debut at InterSolar 2024 (Hall B4, Stand 110).
The new SolarEdge suite is designed for small to medium commercial solar installations addressing a variety of needs in the C&I markets:
SolarEdge’s CSS solutions offer advanced safety features and will be powered by SolarEdge ONE for C&I, the Company’s new software-based energy optimization platform. This innovative platform is designed to automatically synchronize and optimize site energy production and storage to help reduce energy costs. It analyzes real-time data and user preferences for efficient charging and discharging.
CSS-OD suited for outdoor and indoor applications is a solution comprised of a 102.4 kWh-rated battery cabinet and a 50 KW battery inverter and is designed to be scalable in the future up to a total capacity of 1MWh per site. The system is factory pre-assembled and is supported by a mobile commissioning app for minimized time on-site and faster deployment. CSS-OD is available for orders in Europe and South Africa will be rolled out to additional markets in the rest of the world in the coming quarters.
CSS-ID is a highly efficient DC-coupled indoor CSS that provides up to 66.6kWh of battery capacity. CSS-ID supports DC-coupled topology, enabling to store more energy and reduce BoS costs. The solution is comprised of a single hybrid inverter for PV & storage making it easier for constrained grid connections and reducing BoS costs. It is easy to transport and quick to assemble (two crew members). Gradual release for selected countries in Europe is expected during the first half of 2025.
