Industrial M.2 SSD series with power loss protection

ICP Germany completes its solid state disk portfolio with an M.2 2280 series, which combines TLC technology with advanced data protection. In addition to models in the new M.2 2280 form factor, the T376 series also consists of models in mSATA and 2.5″ form factor. Common to all of them is the Powerguard or Power Loss Protection function, or PLP for short, a technology that provides additional power in the event of a power failure to complete the storage of data and thus prevent data loss. This is realized by additional tantalum capacitors, which provide the required power in case of a power failure. The SSD offers further protection in the form of 256-bit AES encryption. Furthermore, unlike the earlier MLC series, the TLC series has optional write protection. When activated, users or malware cannot overwrite, delete or manipulate data.

The M.2 T376 series is available in form factor 2280 and has a B and M key. The built-in 3D TLC NAND Flash memory is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. With a read speed of up to 550 MB/s and a write speed of up to 475 MB/s, the SSD has sufficient performance for common operating systems.

A version for the temperature range from 0 °C to 70 °C and a version with an extended temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C are offered. The T376 is always energy-saving: Just 460mW power in idle mode, or 2140mW power in active mode. With an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours and a maximum of 1167 Terra Byte Written, the T376 underlines its industrial suitability.
