Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM), and NetEase Games, a division of NetEase, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES), announced that the companies plan to contin working together to advance mobile gaming to provide consumers with superior gaming experiences. Through this joint effort, both companies will continue to innovate, incubate, and conduct targeted research and development to transform mobile gaming experiences at large.

This joint effort between Qualcomm Technologies, its China subsidiaries, and NetEase Games is aimed to develop the next mobile entertainment ecosystem including bringing more feature rich graphics like HDR, real-time shadows, global illumination with Vulkan to provide best gaming and power performance. Previously, the companies worked together to optimize NetEase’s in-house game engine, Messiah, on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-series mobile platforms, which helped improve the image quality and make game experiences more lifelike.
