Flexbright Ltd that produces exceptional lighting solutions has built a totally new production line in Finland. It is currently the only one that can print thin and flexible led foils with a Roll to Roll process. The unique hybrid LED-lighting foil technology is now one of the fastest growing applications based on the VTT developed printed electronics.
So far the Flexbright LEDFOIL technology has been applied to automotive solutions, architectural infrastructure lighting and consumer products to mention few. Flexbright technology excels in applications that require totally new performance and cannot be created with traditional lighting methods, these are also the areas expected to generate most growth too. A good example of these are the wind screens produced by Pilkington Automotive Finland Oy, part of Japanese NSG Group for buses and trains that have embedded laminated led foils within the glass which in turn function as innovative info screens.
Due to great international interest and numerous application possibilities, Flexbright is preparing for the future growth in business and is already planning their next production line.
